It was really important to me that in the countries that I visited, they really understood that I put in the effort to understand their culture.
I personally found it rewarding and my wholeness as a human being will be enhanced by the experience.
Or I may have used it as an excuse to drink beer in the morning.

Seriously, you expect me to believe that you are studying....come on now!! Although the sheer variety of beers in front tells you are not supporting the local brew,(tisk, tisk)and maybe there is some study credit due
