Yodelling our arses off

MONTREUX
Luzern to Montreux via Interlaken. Stopped in Interlaken so Ros could buy some shoes, had some lunch with the snow capped peak of the Jungfrau in the distance. Unsucessfully searched for a camera shop.  Cracked a bottle of old pear schnapps on the train.
Walked 1hr to Youth Hostel after Sam said it was an easy walk. Allright for him, he made Ros carry his bag as well as her own. We then went back into town for dinner with Robbo and Caroline. Sam not happy with just having an argument with the Youth Hostel receptionist decided that the waitress at 4 seasons pizza needed a bit of attitude as well. Currently in Monteux Youth Hostel sweating our rings off.

A whimsical, airy creature this one. I was like squeezing juicy alpine clouds into my mouth.

    Interlaken what a place, this brings back memories of hitch hiking from the Youth Hostel up to Grindewald, and having a white nuckle ride all the way there with a maniac behind the wheel determined to make us crap our pants.

    We all came out to Montreux,
    On the Lake Geneva shoreline.

    Were there any Deep Purple "Smoke on the Water" references around?
